It so happened that last year, I was stuck for almost 2 months in a village near Moscow. In Russia, a quarantine was declared and all planes, trains, etc. were canceled. I had nothing special to do there, with no materials for painting. But there was a pen, writing paper, and magazines. With a pen I drew some linear compositions, cut out pictures from magazines. And then collages began to take shape. Gradually I got carried away. More than 20 works turned out. I brought some of them back with me. And not long ago, I looked them over decided to make them into paintings. I present to you the outcome.
