Original artwork description:

1.”Goddess of water”, a fragment of canvas, acrylic, sanguine, 30x21.5cm, 2021

The ancient Slavs believed that "Bereginya" was a great goddess who gave birth to all life on earth. She is the owner of curvaceous forms and exquisite body plastic. Coming out of the water, she boldly and proudly exposes her beautiful body for everyone to see. As in most of my works, the heroine of the picture is depicted against the background of a Ukrainian ornament.

2. "Woman-Amphora" paper, sanguine, acrylic 21x30cm, 2021

Have you noticed that many vessels and vases resemble a female figure? Since ancient times, the amphora has been considered a symbol of life. Moreover, the ancients believed that the female soul was stored in it.
The heroine of this picture looks at the viewer without embarrassment and coquetry, knowing that every woman is unique and multifaceted. Therefore, from century to century, artists cannot resist such beauty and try to catch a glimpse, light movement, reveal hidden character traits, and depict in their picture a true, beautiful image of a woman.

Materials used:

Acrylic and sanguine on canvas without stretch
