“Waiting for Something Better to Come Along” captures a quiet street in Toledo, where the midday light sharpens every edge and throws deep shadows across the old walls. A lone figure stands at the corner, half-turned, as if caught between where they are and where they hope to be. The work blends acrylic, markers and colour pencils, building layered textures that echo the sense of stillness and anticipation. It’s a moment suspended — part observation, part memory — a place holding its breath before something shifts.
