Description:
This painting moves through darkness without apology, holding space for presence rather than resolution. A muted field of deep charcoal and black is interrupted by a horizontal band of ochre—an ember-like passage that suggests endurance, grounding, and inner heat. Subtle white and graphite markings drift across the surface like traces of memory, gestures that feel both intentional and instinctive.

The composition is deliberately pared back, allowing texture, abrasion, and restraint to carry the emotional weight. My practice is rooted in intuition, process, and emotional honesty. I work through abstraction as a language for the unseen — gestures of thought, breath, and recollection translated through paint. Each piece begins with an impulse rather than a plan, allowing the work to unfold as memory itself does: layered, imperfect, and human.
