In this painting, I aim to capture a moment of warmth enclosed within a snowy cityscape. Outside the window, snow softens the streets and blurs the architecture, as if the city has slowed its pace. Inside, the coffee, fruit bowl, and tabletop still life carry human presence and everyday comfort. The contrast between interior and exterior becomes both a spatial divide and an emotional dialogue.
Technically, I use loose, rhythmic brushstrokes to suggest falling snow and moving air. Warm tones are concentrated on the table and drinks, while cool grays and blues define the distant city. Variations in paint thickness and visible brush marks keep the surface open and breathing, allowing the viewer to step into the scene and sense time passing quietly.
