The miniature painting "Winter stream" was painted from life and conveys a subtle sense of living nature in the cold season. Despite its compact format, the work has an expressive texture and depth. Thick impasto strokes of oil paint imitate the relief of the snow cover, under which dark, free water flows. Soft blue, brown and gray-white tones convey the fragile harmony of winter light and shadow.
