Recently went out quite early in the morning for the morning dog walk. There had been a cold snap with the wind coming from the north/north east, the mornings had been frosty with bright blue skies. Bracing weather, the brightness was so welcome after dull skies for so long. I was inspired to create this painting after experiencing the frosty crisp day and the colours of the fields everything is soft, muted but bright and glistening. Painted on a Burnt Sienna ground,signed on the right edge signed dated and titled on the reverse. Presented ready to hang with text left “Winter Sky” right “ Frosty Fields”
