In this painting, I wanted to capture a moment when the world seems to breathe in softly and hold itself still. The two quiet rooftops resting under a vast sky became symbols of calm perseverance for me. As the deep blue melts into a warm, glowing horizon, I feel a gentle tension between cold and warmth, solitude and comfort. This contrast is where I find the poetry of winter evenings — that fragile instant when light fades but never fully disappears. I painted it to preserve that fleeting sense of shelter, silence, and hopeful glow that lingers long after the sun sinks.
