Inspired by Vivaldi's Four Seasons, I have created a sense of winter colors for Winter Moods.
This is the 4th one from the series of 4 paintings: 4 seasons! Spring Symphony, Summer Concerto, Autumn Opus and Winter Mood.
A nature abstract in wintry colors - snowy whites, icy and navy blue and the bright turquoise of the winter moods. Water and sky everywhere - a delight to paint and capture its moods, from sunshine sparkle to dramatic icy stillness amid deep shadow and mirror reflections. Ice and frost sparkling in the sunlight, the white frost warmed up with navy blue. A nature abstract in wintry colors - snowy whites, icy blue and the bright turquoise of the winter. Although a barren scene, the colors used give it a warm feeling. The whole scene is harmonized through the use of strong horizontal strokes on the ice.
Ready to hang.
Materials used:
I was using professional grade acrylic colors with premium quality color, pigments that have high resistance to fading. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame.
