Original artwork description

I wanted to capture the sensation of a winter day slowly settling into stillness - that particular moment after fresh snow has just fallen, when time seems to decelerate so drastically it nearly stops altogether. Through the window, the city becomes almost abstracted under its white veil. Snow softens harsh edges, erases unsightly corners, and transmutes even the most humble urban scene into something timeless and almost sacred. Only the red apples on the windowsill anchor us to the tangible world, reminding that the ordinary and the eternal exist simultaneously in these quiet moments.
