With this painting I was hoping to evoke a sense of calm, stillness and peace of a winter woodland. This atmospheric piece sits beautifully with many interiors. I've worked in layers over time with a palette knife building up the texture of the tree trunks, keeping a limited colour palette. This piece is framed in an oak tray frame and is ready to hang.
