A couple of weeks ago, I went snowshoeing in the mountains near my home. It was a truly fantastic winter day. The scene of the local restaurant—with its bright red wagon parked outside, the two fir trees—stood out against the brilliant white snow. The striking contrast instantly caught my eye.
I tried to convey the crispness of the air and the stillness of the snow-covered landscape. The bright red wagon provides a striking focal point to the winter scene.
