That moment felt suspended in time—fragrant coffee on the table, the shimmer of lights dancing on the canal, and a gondola silently gliding by. I wanted to capture that peaceful romance. I used thick brushstrokes to give the painting a textured, expressive quality, blending the warm glow of the interior with the cool blues of the Venetian night.
