A large landscape of wildflowers leads you into warm hills of trees. I experience this a lot living in Northern California. I have applied a painted wash of color using a diffused technique and texture. Moving forward I have painted the poppies, paper whites and other flowers using both bold brush strokes and detailed lines for interest. If you look further into this piece you can notice hidden notes of colors and textured shapes.
