My second oil painting based on a view of The May Island in Scotland seen from Fife. I wanted to convey the freedom and rhythm and glorious colour of the wild flowers set against the steady distant horizon and calm water. Fife is a very beautiful part of Scotland, facing south over the Firth Of Forth.
