A calm morning in the alps. The air is clear and almost everything is white. The tree itself is actually white, it's not just snow covered. In the distance, the village chalets and trees create an image of ski style perfection. All is hidden behind a layer of white. In the garden foreground, an outdoor table and chairs await some people to take a seat and a warming drink in the sun.

Drawn in charcoal from life and painted in thin layers of acrylic.

The painting was made in the small village of Lenk in Switzerland.
