In this painting, I explore inner strength.
The white tiger stands beside the woman, calm and grounded. There is no tension between them. She does not try to control him, and he does not challenge her presence. They share the same space with quiet confidence.
The light divides her face into shadow and brightness. For me, this is a reminder that strength is not the absence of darkness. It is the ability to stand peacefully within it. The black dress enhances the contrast, while the golden undertone of the background brings warmth and depth to the entire composition.
I used a gold acrylic base layer beneath the oil paint. It softly appears through the surface, creating a subtle inner glow. This golden foundation present in every work of this series, symbolizing the constant inner light that remains, even in shadow.
This piece is part of my ongoing series about a woman and powerful animals where woman is not afraid. She stands in trust, balance, and self-awareness.
