I created this large black and white abstract painting as an exploration of movement and release — a moment where energy breaks through structure.

Working with acrylic on canvas, I built the composition through layered textures using palette knife and expressive brushwork. The upper section is filled with soft white and light grey tones, creating a luminous, open space. These areas contrast with deeper layers of black, brown, and earthy tones below, giving the painting a strong foundation.

Dynamic white forms move across the surface, almost like a surge of energy, while subtle warm accents introduce contrast and depth. The composition flows horizontally, while vertical drips and textures add rhythm and direction.

The surface is richly textured, allowing the painting to interact with light and reveal different nuances throughout the day. From different angles, the work feels both powerful and calm, structured yet expressive.

This large abstract painting is designed as a statement piece for modern interiors.
