White rain (2025)Acrylic painting
by Theodor Anghel

£873.47

"White Rain" unfolds like a storm of memory rather than weather. Broad, restless strokes of ochre, rust, charcoal, and ash collide across the surface, creating a sense of movement and emotional turbulence. From this heated chaos, thin white drips descend vertical: quiet, deliberate, almost cleansing, like rain falling through smoke and fire.

The contrast is the heart of the painting: warmth versus cool restraint, density versus openness, impulse versus calm. The white lines don’t erase the intensity beneath them; they soften it, suggesting release, reflection, or renewal. Beneath the rain, layers of color remain visible, scratched, smeared, and worked over, hinting at time, struggle, and persistence.

Due to the expensive international shipping cost, the painting will be shipped ready to hang only to the next locations:
Canada
United States
European Union and United Kingdom
Australia

For the other international locations it will be shipped rolled in a sturdy long box.
