The view from the window of the apartment in St. Petersburg, where I lived for 5 years. A wide horizon, a panoramic view of the city, and the domes of St. Isaac's and St. Trinity Cathedrals in the distance.
Every evening, a new picture in the sky - clouds, the sky, and the sunset - can be observed endlessly. The changing shades in the sky create an incredible sense of space, making you want to absorb and remember all the beauty.
The sight of the city's lights during the white nights and the glowing sky fills you with excitement.
When I wrote this small-format work, it felt like I was there among the clouds, at the height of the seagulls' flight) the inner feeling of being off the Ground, as if dancing in the sky to the sounds of the Path of the Soul album.
