The white surface hiding our memories is not meant to erase the colorful stories below it, but to veil them by blurring and softening them, like the time does with our own experiences and emotions.

The many layers underneath represents everything that accumulates over time: moments, feelings, fractures, and traces of joy or pain. Some of these layers push through more clearly, others remain barely visible, but all of them are present. Nothing is truly lost, even when it’s hidden.

This painting has multi layers of acrylic paint on canvas partially sanded down to a smooth surface. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars.
The sides are painted so the art work is ready to hang.
