Artwork description
'White Horses' sees three white horses relaxing under the protective cover of a dark wood. This print is based on a view I see every day as I walk the length of my garden to the studio. These horses are Andalusian Whites - 'Pura Raza' and are a common site in the area of Spain in which I am lucky enough to live.
This print is an etching and aquatint drawn on a copper plate. It is printed on Somerset Velvet, an off-white heavyweight 300 gsm handmade paper from St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The print is in a limited edition of 75 and is signed and numbered by the artist. The image size is 20 x 30 cm on a paper size is 35 x 45 cm.
