White Hart Rising is semi abstract contemporary oil painting of a white deer stag against a green and rainbow coloured abstract background. It is 30x30x1.5 inches. The inspiration for the painting is spotting fallow deer in the Sussex area. Deer look like ethereal creatures to me anyway but a white deer is even more so. In folklore deer are often revered as spirit guides or messengers and it is interesting how this idea crosses so many cultures. Painted on deep edge canvas, edges green, ready to hang and comes with certificate of authenticity
