Original artwork description
I wanted to capture the tender, slightly melancholic romance of a Parisian evening. In that moment, the Eiffel Tower wasn’t just a structure of iron—it became a symbol of emotion. I placed it at the heart of the composition, wrapped in the golden and amber glow of the sunset, like an unsent love letter.
To create a sense of warmth and calm, I combined palette knife work with soft brushstrokes. The café in the foreground and its figures are painted with darker tones and minimal detail, allowing the glowing light to draw the eye deeper into the scene. I let the light spill from the horizon onto the cobblestone path, inviting the viewer to step inside the painting—to feel the falling autumn leaves and the quiet warmth of wine in hand on a Parisian night.
