These beautiful ladies are having a splashing time at the Whirlpool.
A vintage page from the 1950's of a lovely pink top loading washing machine made for a perfect backdrop for some water frolics. The blue water painted in acrylic gouache with additional torn pieces to suggest movement and froth. A little extra pencil shading around the seated lady places her more realistically on the appliance.

The collage is attached to thick paper for added stability before being further mounted onto off white paper.
It's ready to hang in a 12x12 inch crisp acrylic box frame in black with real glazing.
