Original artwork description:

Two people appear to have recently vacated these chairs, half way through a glass of wine. A dark jacket and a bright pink jacket hang on the chair backs. A low sun shines through the window, backlighting the scene.

I have worked with a similar composition before, but here I am using more vigorous brushstrokes and thicker paint, in a looser, more lively style.

The painting will be framed with a simple black wooden moulding.

Materials used:

Highest quality artist's oil paint on heavyweight Italian linen canvas
