"Where Traces Lead" was born from silence. I painted the lone tree as a witness—not to an event, but to the quiet that follows. Brushstrokes shift between detail and abstraction: there are hints of forest, stone, air. Nothing is exact, yet everything feels familiar.
The deep greens and earthy browns are pierced by muted violet and ochre, creating a mood of evening reflection. It's a landscape, but it's also a threshold—where memory and nature meet.
