- Where the Tide Finds Us
Artwork description
Seen from directly above, the tide unfolds against the shore in lace-like patterns of white foam over turquoise water and warm sand. I made this aerial photograph at the meeting line of land and sea, where every wave redraws the same boundary differently and no two frames are ever alike.
My drone work extends the way I have always read landscape as an architect: from above, the shore becomes pure composition, a study in edge, texture, and rhythm. The image rewards both distance and closeness; from across a room it reads as abstraction, up close it dissolves into detail.
This is a museum-quality giclee print on archival fine art paper, made from the original high-resolution file, signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Each print is produced to exhibition standard and shipped rolled in a protective tube.
