Where the Low Tide Rests
A captivating exploration of nature’s quiet beauty, Where the Low Tide Rests blends acrylic and oil with rich textured layers and delicate touches of gold leaf. The painting captures a serene coastal moment, where the sun breaks through the sky, casting a warm glow over the exposed sand at low tide.
About me
Sennen Cove is located at the western tip of Cornwall very close to Lands End and is a beautiful and magical cove. Sennen comes from the Cornish for ‘holy headland’
Background
This series of paintings is my largest ever project as I am painting 365 artworks of Sennen Cove. One for each day of the year. I have been inspired and captivated by this beautiful, magical bay in a remote part of western Cornwall near Lands End.
Many of these paintings have been published in my recent book called “A Moment in Time”
No two days are the same and each painting endeavours to catch a moment in time using abstraction to convey a sense of mood, time and place.
About me
