“Where the Light Settles” is an original large abstract acrylic painting on canvas, measuring 140 × 80 cm.

I created this painting while exploring the moment when movement gradually slows and space becomes calm and expansive. My process was intuitive and layered — I built the surface slowly, allowing each colour to emerge through soft transitions and subtle contrasts. Cool blue tones blend with pale sky blue, warm beige, sand, and muted brown, creating a balanced composition that feels open, grounded, and serene.

The surface reveals visible texture and delicate drips formed naturally as the acrylic paint moved across the canvas. Some areas are richly layered and tactile, while others remain light and airy, allowing the painting to breathe. Thin horizontal accents and gentle tonal shifts guide the eye across the composition, creating a sense of continuity and quiet motion.

This painting is designed for modern and contemporary interiors where light, space, and balance are essential. “Where the Light Settles” works beautifully as a statement piece above a sofa, in a living room, bedroom, or refined office setting.
