Where Silence Burns explores the contrast between darkness and hidden warmth within the nocturnal landscape.
Tall cypress-like forms rise against a deep violet sky while fragments of golden light emerge below, reflected through still water. Rather than depicting a literal place, the painting creates an emotional atmosphere — a sense of silence interrupted by glowing traces of life and memory.
Built with heavy palette knife textures and layered color transitions, the surface shifts constantly under changing light, revealing new details and tonal relationships from different distances.
