“Where Light Begins to Rise” is a large 130×100 cm acrylic painting
When I started this piece, my intention was simple: to paint the feeling of transition — that quiet moment when the world brightens and the day slowly unfolds. I built the composition through layered textures, sweeping teal-blue strokes, soft beige tones, deep charcoal passages, and delicate, luminous whites.
Using palette knives, washes, and dripping techniques, I allowed the paint to move freely downward, creating natural vertical flows that reflect both gravity and emotion. The soft sky-like upper section dissolves into a richer, more textured lower layer, where earthy browns and deep blues blend into one another. Thin structural lines and subtle details add a sense of quiet depth, inviting the viewer to explore the painting up close.
This artwork brings calm energy and refined sophistication to interiors — especially contemporary, coastal, Scandinavian, or modern luxury spaces. Its palette is intentionally soothing, yet full of dynamic movement, making it a powerful statement piece for living rooms, curated hallways, offices, or hospitality spaces.
“Where Light Begins to Rise” is a painting about renewal — a visual breath, a reminder of the gentle strength that comes with each new beginning.
The artwork is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and ships in a tube. This method is particularly safe for oversized works and ensures lower transport costs. Rolled works may be easily stretched upon arrival (placed on wooden stretchers for canvases) and/or framed by a local framer.
