Original artwork description:

The original acrylic painting depicts a still-life with plants and cup of cappuccino. I turn to the themes of everyday reality to stop the viewer, inviting him to contemplate the present moment and himself. Time seems to flow slowly and dissolve with the surrounding reality. Objects, places and people that are part of everyday life suddenly acquire a voice and mystery. In my art I search for a state, between the presence of a particular moment of reality in all its material fullness and the feeling of spiritual interconnectedness and unity of human beings and the world.

There is a dialogue between the conditional and the concrete. I use this technique to introduce the idea of suggestivity of our personal reality: some objects, passed through the prism of memories and emotions, are blurred, turning into an illusion, others come to the fore, gaining clear contours and weight, it is no longer clear where is objective reality and where is our assumption about it.

My author's technique consists of multiple layers of acrylic painting applied with brushes on canvas and washings. I am studying the transformation of material and creating the artwork in the dialogue between my intention and the unpredictable force of material in the art process. This practice helps me to learn how to follow the flow of uncontrolled chaos and build a new order inside of it.

The acrylic painting applied with brushes on canvas and oil pastels strikes. The painting will be shipped unframed, stretched on stretcher bars. Full size is 80x80x2cm, the sides are covered around by painting.

The artwork will be dispatched within 14 days.
