Painting from the series Spatial history.
Spatial history, is a series of autobiographical landscapes, with emotional, personal connection to significant place identity and the passage of time for the Artist.
When things are so unclear was produced by the Artist after the death of a much loved family member, and is both a celebration and reflection of time spent with them in a much loved place. During the painting process she explores the fine line between pure abstraction and figurative recognition, between spontaneity and intention using water based oil and acrylic.
She would like to convey a mood, an atmosphere, a saudade ( a love that remains ) for the viewer.
The painting is signed on the canvas side and ready to hang.
