This oil painting of a lovely day at the beach is from a current group of works called 'Summer Series', inspired by my archive of family photographs.

Capturing playful moments at the beach, painting with colours of seaside nostalgia. A warm, hazy, dream-like atmosphere that echos fond memories.

Through layers and expressive brushwork the painting reflects sunny childhood summers through memory and reflection.
