This is about the constant need for vigilance in the desert. No matter how safe you feel you need to be listening and ready to make a hasty retreat. The bobcat has only stealth for concealment, but the rabbit has speed and very good hearing as his protection.
This is watercolor,ink, pastel, pencil on 140 lb. watercolor paper.
It has been sprayed with protective UV coatings as part of the process.
