Original artwork description
"What the Moon Forgot" is a vibrant exploration of memory, light, and emotion. I built this piece layer by layer, allowing each color to find its own rhythm and balance within the composition. Deep crimson and earthy browns create a grounded warmth, while shades of turquoise, blue, and orange bring movement and contrast. The canvas surface has a gentle texture and richness from the many layers of paint, revealing depth as you move closer. The style draws on my fascination of Cubism and geometric abstraction, breaking up shapes, reassembling them, and finding harmony through contrast.
This painting is from my Flowstate collection, a series that explores movement, emotion, and transformation through color and form.
Medium: Acrylic paint and acrylic marker on gallery grade canvas.
Signed Certificate of Authenticity.
The artwork has been finished with a satin varnish.
The artwork was painted on un-stretched Italian cotton canvas, with a 6 cm border left for stretching onto a canvas frame. This artwork is shipped rolled in a tube for safe international delivery and can be affordably stretched at your local framing store.
