Original artwork description
This sculpture is created using an antique clock mechanism acquired in Arles, France — a city closely associated with artists and the passage of time.
Two identical faces represent one woman at different moments of her life, separated by time yet sharing the same features.
The rusted clock mechanism symbolizes the inevitability of time and physical decay, while the gold at the center embodies the past, memory, and inner value — something that does not corrode and remains beyond time.
This work is a unique original. The sculpture is made from self-hardening clay and cannot be cast or reproduced; the creation of another identical sculpture is technically and conceptually impossible.
Materials used:
clay,acrylic,metall
