what might have happened (2026) Linocut by Viktor Solt
50 x 70 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 40 x 54cm (actual image size)
£187.45
Artwork description
i have always been fascinated by how little we actually remember. blurred perception fades into an even blurrier memory. sometimes only the feeling remains that something has happened …
this is a four-colour print in yellow, fluorescent pink and two shades of blue.
the image is based on a short animation of a person walking, which i then edited on the computer. i used a 3D printer to produce printing blocks from the separated colours and then made the prints by hand.
as the production of printing blocks using a 3D printer is quite unusual, there is no separate category for this technique. this is why I have listed the prints as linocuts.
as you can see from the pictures, the individual prints differ slightly in terms of their texture and, consequently, their colour. if this concerns you, please get in touch so that I can send you a photo of the specific print currently available for sale
