Original artwork description
People look different on a wet day. Even in silhouette you can see their reluctance to get rain down the back of their necks; they are hunched as if to delay the impact of the next raindrop by a millisecond. In Aix one seldom has the opportunity to study this, but it does happen, and when it does it should be celebrated as there is still a warm welcome light and the pavements are cleaned, albeit very slippery.
