Original artwork description:

I recently went to the exhibition 'An American in London: Whistler and the Thames' at the Dulwich Picture Gallery (on now until 12th January 2014) and was blown away Whistler's masterful paintings of the Thames. I can only aspire to his fabulous economy of strokes. I plan on working on more 'nocturnes'.
As a start I have painted this view of Westminster at late sunset. It is currently unframed although I could arrange for it to be framed.

Materials used:

Oil on linen canvas
