A view of a patchwork of fields in Somerset This area is steeped in history from Glastonbury and the Tor to Alfred the Great's hideout retreat from the Danes. Once marshes, the fields are drained and sun scorched in high summer. Yellows and ochres patches are abstracted into an almost cubist composition.
