A view of a patchwork of fields in Somerset This area is steeped in history from Glastonbury and the Tor to Alfred the Great's hideout retreat from the Danes. The fields, once marshes, are known as the levels and often flood after heavy rain. Blue, grey and green patches are abstracted into an almost cubist composition.
