Original artwork description
This mixed media canvas was inspired by a stunning view and I wanted to capture the feeling of depth and magnificence of the beautiful Welsh valley.
I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
