Striking and immersive, this large oil painting transports you to a sea swept coast.

This seascape is based on the view at Downpatrick Head, on the West Coast of Ireland. A rocky foreground, catching the splashing white spray, gives way to soft blues and greys and a sweeping wave in the mid ground of the landscape. Distant outcrops of land and the rosy light of dawn stretch across the back of the artwork, with an 'oil wash' of lightening sky beyond. A space to stand and breathe in the salt air.

Painted with Michael Harding Professional Artists oil colours, on a stretched cotton canvas. The edges are painted a clean white. This artwork is signed and dated on the back, and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
