Original artwork description
I’ve named this abstract piece ‘Waves’ to describe the ripple effect moving across the canvas. I like geometric shapes and I’m particularly fascinated by those which give an impression of movement and optical illusion. I’ve chosen a simple, monochrome palette so as not to distract from the movement of the eye across the artwork.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on deep edge canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The sides of the painting have been painted black and the painting has been fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting measures 30 x 30 inches (76.2 x 76.2 cm).
All paintings are professionally wrapped to ensure they arrive in perfect condition and are shipped with tracking and insurance.
