Graphite Pencil and Water soluble pencil on very strong and heavy watercolour paper.
Currently I have been working on some large paintings on heavy weight watercolour paper, drawing on the research I did last year, examining the river's water from its source down in the centre of Todmorden.
Watershed - a series of abstract landscape paintings, in which the media and methods resonate with places from which water flows. referencing map symbology and place names both contemporary and from ancient languages.

The drawing is made with coloured pencil, on heavy strong watercolour paper
