I am inspired by the inherent delicacy and subtleness of watercolor art as it is all about thin washes and transparent colors. I allow the white of the paper to gleam through and lend itself to the luminosity of the painting.
What I enjoy most is letting go and finding a balance between controlling and freeing this painting medium to get some amazing effects and outputs.
Birds are a beautiful gift of nature that finds their place in everyone’s lives in some way or the other. This evergreen subject, with endless variety, gives me the scope to play with colors and be imaginative…at the same time creating some beautiful works.
