Original artwork description:

A familiar view to me, as my parents' home was just up the hill, the Water of Leith runs all the way through Edinburgh. At this point the Water of Leith is straddled by the Dean Village, a collection of Arts and Crafts social housing and older buildings. The work invites the viewer to linger by the peaceful water. The canvas is 0.4 inches deep and can therefore hang without the need for framing if wished.

Materials used:

acrylic and card
