Original artwork description:

On the shore of a large lake lived a beautiful young girl with her mother. Every morning the girl washed at this lake. One day her saw lake spirit, fell in love and lured her to lake. He married her and kept the girl with him. But the girl was very sad for her mother. Then he took pity on her and allowed her to visit her mother once. The girl, coming to her mother, comforted her and said that now every summer white lilies will appear on the shore of the lake. They will mean that everything is fine with the girl.
This legend deeply touched my soul and inspired me to paint this painting.
